Music for Melissa

In November 2011, Melissa Eaton, (Producing Director-Danny Eaton’s
Daughter-In-Law) was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The initial attack was so severe that she was unable to perform simple tasks such as tie her shoes or lift a spoon to her 8 month old daughter’s mouth. The physical and emotional damage was just the tip of the iceberg. The disease then decimated the family’s savings and eventually forced the closure of their SC business and the relocation back up to Western MA. They now face
a mountain of debt and even more frightening, an uncertain future. Thank
you for joining us in support of Melissa. Together we can help give this young family a second chance at a bight future.

Holiday 2012 Influenster VoxBox

So I just got my second Influenster VoxBox in the mail the other day... This one I am MEGA excited about!! It had a bunch of fun and exciting things in it....   Here is what I found when I opened the box.... The first item was the Goody QuickStyle Hair Brush.  It claims to help dry your hair 30% faster with these little microfiber bristle things in between the regular bristles.  I tried this out on the first day, and so far I really like it! I think it did in fact help my hair dry faster.  I am concerned that it might be difficult to clean hair out of the brush the way it is designed (I have long hair and tend to leave plenty behind after brushing)...But over all I think it is a pretty decent brush! Next up...my all time favorite... The Quaker Oats Medleys--Cherry Pistachio!!! I LOOOOVE Quaker Medleys....and somehow they knew the Cherry Pistachio was my favorite!  One of the best things for breakfast. I've always liked oatmeal...but this...

Am I ok?

As I am nearing three months after my second trimester loss, I still have people asking me if I am ok.  Most of the time my response will be "yes I'm doing ok" or sometimes "I'm hanging in there".  If I am truly honest, the answer should be "Not really"...or at least "Not always". Yes, most days I would appear fine.  Many of those days I even feel basically fine.  But then there are the days when I just...don't. I'm not sure if it is still hormones, or just my body, mind, and soul taking it's own round about way to deal with the last few months.  Lately though, it has been tough.  Yes, I know, I have 2 wonderful and amazing little girls.  And they should be enough.  And they are.  And they're not.  I should be happy with my life. And I am.  And I'm not. I feel as though I am in a constant struggle with my self.  My heart and my brain are battling and I'm not sure who's winning.  At first, it seemed pretty...

MEDICATION: Meant to "heal" me....but might be making me "feel" worse.....

I know I haven't written anything in FOREVER.  To be honest, life just got in the way.  Kids, family, projects, my health....everything.  But as soon as I opened the mail this evening, I knew I needed to post something about this....and a little Facebook rant was just not enough. Every month I get this lovely statement in the mail from my Health Insurance company showing how much was paid out by my primary and secondary insurances for my prescriptions each month....... Side Note:   I am absolutely not some pill happy person.  I HATE taking medication.  And what's worse, none of mine are easy little pills....they're all injections. Needles. God awful jabbing little things that I have to stick into my hips, tummy, and thighs.  Hoping I don't hit a vein and bleed like a stuck pig or swell up like crazy....or get a bruise like someone has beaten me. I have had so many people ask me "Well, you take xyz for fatigue right?" or "you know about xyz f...
